Majesty

Majestic, impressive, sculptural. Majesty table is a composition of geometries that forms a piece of furniture measuring 300×100 cm. Inspired by traditional carpenter’s benches, Christophe Pillet reinterprets them in a contemporary design, entirely in marble. The articulated base develops from four 4-cm-thick rectangular sections, slightly set back from the corners: two elements are embedded in them, perpendicular to the legs, which in turn support a central beam on which the large rectangular top rests. The geometries are sharp, precise and clean, while the material effect is extremely vivid and deep thanks to the veins and nuances of the natural stone emerging from the constructive interplay of the structure. Designed to be placed in residential settings or prestigious executive offices, Majesty is customizable in a selection of marbles including Verde Bamboo, Calacatta Carrara, Bianco Carrara, Rosso Lepanto and Travertino Paglierino.
