Nami

With Nami, Kreoo wanted to pay tribute to the highest expression of Italian art history and to the unique way in which Michelangelo sculpted his masterpieces in marble.

The washbasin designed by Enzo Berti recalls the drapery of the veil of the Pietà: the external shape of the product is a weaved fabric, made of folds at different depths, with an effect of chiaroscuros that follow each other in a natural way and define a non-uniform upper profile.

The softness of Nami’s outlines is the result of a complex prototyping process: to create it, it was used a draped velvet, laid on an oval bowl, scanned in 3D and turned into a digital image.

This was then reproduced by shaping the delicate waves in the marble.

The exterior of the washbasin, in a single size variant and five different types of marble, contrasts pleasantly with the perfectly smooth interior.
