Matteo Nunziati is considered one of the most important international architects and designers of his generation.
Specializing in the design of luxury hotels, wellness centers, spas, and residential projects, Studio Matteo Nunziati has completed projects over the years in Italy, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, India, the Maldives, China, and the USA.
A particularly significant collaboration was with the Trump Organization, a global leader in real estate, which selected Matteo Nunziati for the Trump Towers project in Pune, completed in 2017 and regarded as one of India’s most prestigious properties, winning the NDTV Property Awards. Other notable projects for Trump include the renovation of the Trump National Doral in Miami, Florida, and the design of the Trump Towers in New Delhi and Kolkata.
Another major achievement is the construction of Fraser Suites West Bay in Doha, the largest five-star hotel in Qatar, a 50-story tower awarded the World Travel Award. Additional projects include the Radisson Blu Residence Dubai Marina, the Radisson Blu Hotel Apartments Dubai Silicon Oasis, the Aston Martin Residences skyscraper in Miami, and the renovation of suites at the prestigious Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane and the Park Hyatt Hamburg. Currently under construction in Doha, Qatar, is the Oryx Tower, a 22-story luxury residential building, along with the business class lounges of Hamad International Airport.
In the residential sector, a standout project is the penthouse of the Bosco Verticale in Milan, which won the prestigious Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) 2018 International Excellence Award. Another remarkable achievement is the penthouse in New York’s 432 Park Avenue, one of the tallest and most prestigious residential buildings in the world, which recently became even more exclusive following the sale of an apartment for $95 million. Other luxury villas designed by Nunziati are located in Kuwait City, Dubai, Singapore, San Marino, Muscat, Pune, and Bangalore.
His projects, distinguished by an expert selection of materials and furnishings—often sourced from the finest Italian design brands—have been featured in leading Italian and international design magazines.
Alongside his architectural work, Matteo Nunziati collaborates with renowned design brands, including Molteni&C., Poliform, Flou, Lema, I 4 Mariani, Fiam, Fontana Arte, La Murrina, Rapsel, Tonon, Lualdi Porte, Listone Giordano, Florim, and Kreoo.
He has received numerous prestigious awards for his design products, such as the Good Design Award Chicago, Wallpaper Design Award, Red Dot Design Award, Elle Deco International Design Awards, London Design Award, and IDA Design Award.
His extensive experience has also led Nunziati to teach at esteemed institutions such as Domus Academy, the National Taipei University of Technology, the IDI Interior Design Institute in Milan, and Tsinghua University Shenzhen in China.
He has also been a speaker at numerous international conferences and was selected in 2006 as one of the most significant designers in international design from 1954 to 2006 for the exhibition 50+2y Italian Design at the National Art Museum of China. In 2018, he was recognized among the top 100 International Architects/Interior and Product Designers in the publication Icon Architects 2018.
